ABOUT THE OWNER/DESIGNER

I've always been an artist, and a lover of nature and science. When I was a kid, my mom and I would take annual trips to the mountains in Hiddenite, NC and go gem mining. My dad and I always sat at the dinner table talking about science: the formation of stars, phases of the moon, how crystals are formed - and that's where it started. I began focusing my talent and love for gemstones & crystals into jewelry around 2015, and that is when HiddeniteGems was born.  

I'm a self-taught artist, and I generally work with gold, aluminum, and brass. Each piece is hand crafted with my heart and soul...down to the very last detail. Creating unique hand-wrapped gemstones, jewelry, and home décor is time consuming, and very important to me. I try my best to price each piece so that it's affordable.

A friend once said that I'm a "teacher by day, gem-slinger by night." It truly couldn't be more accurate.
